Hunan Huitong Advanced Materials Co., Ltd locates at High and New-Technology Industries Development Zone, Yiyang, Hunan Province. Its old name is Metal Fiber and Products Factory in Changsha Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. It is the pioneer that engages in the research and production of metal fibers and relative products at home. In 1982, it began to develop stainless steel fibers, and a great success was achieved at the same year. In 1985, a technology appraisement of this research was carried out by the Ministry of Metallurgy Industry. It was awarded a prize cup as New-Technology Development Excellent Achievements in 1988 by National Economic Trade Council; also a gold prize was awarded by National Science and Technology Council in the first "Torch-Cup" exhibition of advanced technology in 1989. In 2001, the project of Metal Matrix Electromagnetic Shielding Protection Material was listed as national High Technology Industrialized Demonstration Project. Now the company has formed industrialscale manufacturing production capacity.
    Now our company has successfully developed 1-40μm stainless steel fibers, 3-40μm filtering precision stainless steel fiber sintered felts, 7-50μm nickel and nickel alloy fibers, 6-40μm magnetoconductivity fibers, 6-40μm high temperature alloy fibers, 100*100-275*220 pure stainless steel fiber strings, 6-20 metric count pure stainless steel fiber spinning strings, stainless steel fiber blended spinning yarns, strings and cloth with various contents. The products have been widely used in the fields of metallurgy, textile, oil, electron, electricity power, glass, chemical fiber, army, food and environment protection etc. Stainless steel fibers and relative products have been developed as a new industry both at home and abroad.
